I played a lot of Mario Paint at a point and fell in love with the song B.G.M. 3 from it, so much so I recorded a 60 minute cassette of it to put in my tape player and hit endless play and then do whatever with it’s soothing tones fading in and out in the background.  I noticed how the tape might play for hours without me really noticing, and how when I tuned in, I knew exactly what part came next, but I could never figure out where it looped, it was so seamless.  This tape is a melding of fuzzy memories and magnetic tape nostalgia, it is a loop of the Video Naturals’ Ocean Waves VHS slowed down by 400%, so subtly do the waves rise and fall, that much like the looping electronic background music you do not notice them, they almost melt into their next position.  It is intended to watch in either light or dark, casually or intently at any volume seen fit for the situation.
